Transfers: Nacional

Suddenly the transfers of Argentinean forward Juan Pablo Pereyra and defenseman Deivis Barone to Nacional encountered with problems. Their previous clubs - Tigre and Uruguayan River Plate - have not received due compensation and are threatening to cancel the transfers. From the other side, everything is cloudless with the transfer to the same grandee of Pablo Munhoz, who returned from Croatia. Munhoz was Uruguay's captain in the short epoch of Carrasco.

Transfers: Gonzalo Castro

One of Nacional's brightest players, Gonzalo Castro has signed with Spanish Mallorca. The Uruguayan is about to spend in a club of Baleares five next seasons.

Uruguay: Nacional

The Uruguayan grandee Nacional has signed five new players: a lateral Gerardo Acosta from Cerrito, two central defensemen Deivis Bairone from Paraguayan Libertad and Mauricio Victorino who returned from Mexico. Other two new players are Brazilean Bruno Coutinho and Uruguayan "Ojota" Morales, who played in Spain lately. Meanwhile, the central defenseman of Uruguayan national team Diego Godin is close to signing with Villareal.

The idol of the fans of Uruguayan Nacional, defenseman Marco "Polillo" Vanzini, will be playing for Brazilian Juventude from Caxias-do-Sul. During the last seasons Vanzini has been a Uruguayan grandee's captain.

Breaking News: Sebastian Gonzalez!

A Chilean superforward Sebastian "Chamagol" Gonzalez, who scored about 80 goals in Mexico, will not play for Nacional, as it was expected. Instead of Uruguayan grandee the Chilean chose to play for newly ascended Argentinean Olimpo.
