Injuries: Alexis Sanchez
In a match of Argentinean Apertura against Tigre River Plate's yuong star Alexis Sanchez was attacked by defenseman Juan Carlos Blengio which resulted in torn ligaments. That means that next three months the hope of River and Chilean national team will have to spend without football.

Leo Medeiros, Flamengo's midfielder, has entered a dark pahse of his career, First, new Flamengo's coach Joel Santana put him on a bench. Then, an attacking midfielder injured his right leg and was out for two weeks. This season Medeiros managed to score four goals.

A second car accident ocurred in Curitiba during a week with a footballer involved. After the crash of Alan Baia's car, the midfielder of Coritiba Juninho got into incident as well. The player was lucky to get away with only his rib broken.

Injury: Diego Galvan
Leading midfielder of Estudiantes, Diego Galvan tore his cruciate ligaments and is out of football for 6 to 7 months. It happened during a friendly match against Paraguayan Libertad. The heads of Estudiantes are trying to replace him now with Enzo Perez from Godoy Cruz.
