Transfers: Countermand
Several transfers of Brazilian players, that had been already announced as performed, are cancelled. First, defenseman Betão returned from French Socheaux, which was more than a marvelous surprise for Corinthians' coach Carpeggiani. The French motivated their decision by Betão's lack of athletism (I bet we won't see Socheaux crowned in the near future). Then Sao Paulo and Vasco da Gama declared that they won't permit the transfers of their players - respectively, Alex Silva - to Racing Santander, and Leandro Amaral - to Betis. As for Sevilla's refuesal to accept Chelsea's offer to buy Dani Alves, we already told about that. Although, the left wing right away became highly wanted by Real Madrid.
